On the 3rd July, Many joined in the celebrations for the fiftieth anniversary of ordination of Fathers Jim Bradley, Séamus O’Duill and Liam Talbot. It was a great day and good to see many parishioners as well as family and friends gather for the celebration mass All three have served in Sallynoggin, Co Dublin at various times but each one also has extensive international experience.
Father Jim served as a teacher in England and parish priest in Sallynoggin and latterly as an assistant pastor in Whittier, California.
Father Séamus was a missionary in Tanzania, then he served in Sallynoggin before going to the Comoro Islands for a long spell and most recently he has been working in a Gaelic-speaking parish in Conamara.
Father Liam also served for a number of years in Tanzania. He then went to Australia as superior, and later on was appointed to the Borough in London as parish priest and director of students.
We congratulate our confreres for their ministry over the last fifty years in the service of our Divine Saviour.
